Building land for sale on Hvar Island with awesome views
Vrisnik, Hvar, Croatia
For Sale €83,000 - Building Plot
VRS07 1000 m²

A fantastic piece of building land for sale on Hvar Island with great views!

Prime building land for sale on Hvar Island with some beautiful views of the local village and the sea beyond. The plot is approximately 1,000m² with an asking price of €83,000. The plot is within the village and can, therefore, be built on immediately subject to a building permit. There are some established olive trees on the plot, so an olive orchard already exists!

Building statutes differ from location to location within the island of Hvar, and it is, therefore, essential to check the regulations for this area. We understand the guidelines for this particular area are a detached house covering as much as 30% of the plot size. Alternatively, a semi-detached house can comprise 40% of the plot area. We believe the plots do not fall within a conservation area so it would be possible to build a swimming pool which would be in addition to the listed percentages above.

The plots are within a vibrant inland community which is growing. The location of the land is on the edge of two villages where there is a small grocery store as well as a cafe bar and a favourite pizza restaurant as well as a great traditional restaurant, Konoba Vrisnik. The villages are most famous for their variety of wine, as well as their quality of olive oil which has spread internationally. Further afield, about four kilometres away, is the larger town of Jelsa where many restaurants can be found, as well as several supermarkets. Jelsa also has a beautiful little Pijaca or square with several cafe bars as well as lovely sumptuous ice cream parlour selling an array of homemade ice creams!

Jelsa offers a daily catamaran service to Split on the mainland via the gorgeous seaside resort of Bol, on the island of Brac. In the opposite direction is Stari Grad which has the car ferry operated by Jadrolinija offering an extensive service in the summer as well as a regular service during the out of season months.
