A traditional old stone house for sale on Hvar island requiring extensive renovation.

This traditional old stone house for sale on Hvar island is located in the centre of this popular inland village and not far from the larger seaside town of Jelsa. Currently, a ruin, the house now needs to be completely restored back to its former glory but with a bit of TLC when finished it would make a wonderful family stone house.

Vrisnik is a quiet sleepy village with about 200 inhabitants and in recent times has proved to be a popular place to purchase a property. The village has a well-known restaurant, Konoba Vrisnik which has a 4.5-star rating on Trip Advisor.  a little further down the road, less than a kilometre is the village of Svirce where there is a small grocery store as well as a cafe bar and a popular pizza restaurant. The village is most famous for its variety of wine, as well as its quality of olive oil which has spread internationally. Further afield, about four kilometres away, is the larger town of Jelsa where many restaurants can be found, as well as several supermarkets. Jelsa also has a beautiful little Pijaca or square with several cafe bars as well as lovely sumptuous ice cream parlour selling an array of homemade ice creams! Jelsa also has a daily catamaran service to Split, via the town of Bol which is on the island of Brac.
